Project #12: Ridding ourselves of rotting rails...
Since we purchased the church house, we have been looking forward to ripping down these thick wooden stair rails that flank our porch. They are not original to the church and they create a very heavy look to the front of the house.
We prioritized this project because of one thing…well, thousands of things actually: Carpenter ants. These little suckers were making a home in the rails, so we decided to remove them.
The church house looks so much better, don’t you think?
