This 9” x 12” image is printed using two linoleum blocks and two colors—red and green. It is printed with oil-based inks on paper. The print was created in response to the Red and Green Challenge posed by Pressing Matters Magazine, a UK publication that celebrates the art of printmaking. The artist set out to create a print using only one shade of green and one shade of red with only a single run through the press on each plate. The result is “Penny Candy in Depression Glass.”
