This is the Vashon Island troll—Oscar the Bird King—an original sculpture made by recycle artist and activist Thomas Dambo. The Bird King is pointing at each of us, reminding us to protect his earth.

The original oil-based ink lino print is made by carving the image of the troll into linoleum, inking the image using a brayer, covering it with paper, and running it through an etching press. The full color print is made by scanning the original oil-based ink linoprint, adding color using digital tools, and then printing on fine art paper.

This is a limited series (of 500 for the 5” x 7” print and 250 for the 9” x 12” print) signed by the print artist. The original oil-based ink lino print is a limited series of 100.
